Change your options

Press Alt+X, then choose Options. Video, Audio, Game and Shortcuts group the available controls. Choose Apply to use your changes, OK to confirm and close, or Cancel to discard pending changes.

If a display change shows a confirmation timer, accept it only when the picture is usable. Otherwise, let the timer restore the previous display mode. Audio categories have individual volume controls and a global mute option.

Find your saved files

Paste this path into File Explorer:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\L2Evolution

• l2evo.ini: your game-folder and connection preferences.
• optl2evo.ini: saved game options.
• logs\L2Evolution.log: the application log used for troubleshooting.
• crashes: local reports you can review when asking for help.

Back up settings you want to keep before resetting them. Your original High Five game folder remains separate from these files.

Application installation

A managed installation is stored under %LOCALAPPDATA%\L2Evolution\Native. Keep the launcher and its installed versions together. Use the launcher to change versions instead of moving individual executables between folders.

Discord activity

To disable Discord activity sharing, close L2Evolution and set discord_presence to false in l2evo.ini.

Character name and level sharing is controlled separately by discord_show_character and is disabled by default. Client privacy explains what Discord activity can display.
