Overview
L2Evolution is a Windows x64 client for Lineage II High Five, written in Rust with a Vulkan renderer.
The application
L2Evolution runs through its own executable, runtime and renderer. It reads compatible High Five resources from an installation on your computer to display the world, characters, interface and sound.
Start with Installation and first launch if you already have the application files. Original game files and rights explains the resource folder and your responsibilities when using it.
Playing on L2Evolution
The client displays the world and handles local controls, rendering and audio. It exchanges your actions with the game server, which manages accounts, characters, combat results, inventories, rewards and world rules.
The L2Evolution project also operates its server service. These guides cover the client application; server rules, rates and announcements are published in the website's Server and Features sections. Use the connection details supplied for your build. High Five compatibility does not mean that every server or custom extension is supported.
Using this guide
Controls and Player interface cover everyday play. Settings and local files explains preferences and where they are stored. Current functionality describes the available player systems and their limits. For updates, launch errors or removal, use Updates and troubleshooting.
