High Five game files

Choose your High Five installation and keep your original game files intact.

Choose the game folder

Use a complete Lineage II High Five installation that you are entitled to use. Select its main folder, containing System, Textures, maps and the other game directories. Choosing only System will leave required resources unavailable.

Keep the installation together. Missing textures, models or sound files can affect how locations and characters appear.

Your original files stay unchanged

L2Evolution reads the game resources without patching or overwriting the original game packages. Your settings, logs and local reports are saved in the L2Evolution application profile.

Install L2Evolution in its own folder. Client updates belong to that installation, separately from your High Five resources. You can always start the original game client from its original executable.

Game content and ownership

Lineage II and its game content belong to their respective rights holders. L2Evolution does not grant ownership of those resources or replace any licence required to use them. Use game files that you lawfully possess and follow the terms that apply to them.
