L2Evolution began with the foundations of L2JServer and the community that kept the world of Lineage II alive. From those roots, it has grown into an independently maintained High Five project with a clear purpose: preserve the adventure players remember while giving it the care and attention it deserves today.
In 2026, that means more than returning to familiar towns. It means continuing to refine the quests, creatures, battles and everyday interactions that make the world feel complete.

Progress matters. With x1 rates, each level, recipe and piece of equipment is part of the journey. Hunting, crafting, trading and working together remain central to building your character.
Choose your profession, develop your subclass, prepare for the Grand Olympiad or find your place in a clan. From the first village to the most demanding encounters, High Five offers more than one path forward.
An evolving world
Our updates focus on the moments players experience: a quest moving to its next chapter, a companion responding to a command, a raid reaching its conclusion and rewards arriving as they should.
The server journal follows that progress through focused articles. Each update explains what changed and where you will encounter it in game.
